12-year-old boy lost on bicycle nearly 250km returned to family

(Baonghean.vn) -The 12-year-old boy was riding his bicycle to visit relatives but only realized he had lost his way when he got to Vinh market. After 2 days of traveling nearly 250 km, his family came to pick him up.

On November 1, Dien Chau District Police handed over Le Huu Tuan Anh (born 2005), residing in Yen Hung Commune, Yen Dinh District, Thanh Hoa Province, to his family.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 30, Le Huu Tuan Anh cycled to visit a relative, then traveled on National Highway 1A to Nghe An. On the evening of October 30, he slept at a bus stop, and continued cycling to Vinh City the next morning.

When I got to Vinh market and saw the sign, I realized I was lost, so I cycled back. When I got to Dien Chau district, it was dark, so I went to a local's house on the side of the road to ask, and then they took me to the police station to report.

Receiving information from local people, Dien Chau District Police took the child to the headquarters and gave him food and drink. Through discussion, the child said that his father's name was Le Huu Trinh, residing in Yen Hung Commune, Yen Dinh District, Thanh Hoa Province.

Immediately after that, Dien Chau District Police called the local authorities to verify. On the morning of November 1, the family took a car to the headquarters to ask to take the child home. It is known that the child was lost for nearly 250km.
