Nguyen Trong Thuy and his robot just won a silver medal at the Asian Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition for young people.

With this robot, Nguyen Trong Thuy won one of the five first prizes in the 10th National Youth Creativity Contest in 2014.

As a student passionate about science and technology, Nguyen Trong Thuy spends a lot of time searching, calculating, and applying the knowledge he has learned to create a wifi-controlled exploration robot.

With a compact, flexible, simple, easy-to-handle design, users can flexibly control the robot on mobile phones and computers via wifi and can view and save images captured from the camera mounted on the robot, transmitted via the Internet to their server.

Nguyen Trong Thuy said: The operating principle of the robot is to use a wifi modem to broadcast wifi, a central control circuit board Raspherry Pi Model B Rev 2, using a Tenda W311 M wifi usb to receive and send control information to the pre-installed IP address.

To control the robot, you need to connect to the robot's wifi and access the robot's IP address to control it. When plugging in the robot, the user connects to the wifi named THUONGKHUNG, then accesses the IP address 192.168 to control it.

Robots can be used to explore small caves, high mountains, abysses, underground, and dangerous places that humans cannot reach./.
