In the final night, each contestant performed two songs, one of which was a song they had performed in previous contests. Ho Van Cuong performed two folk songs – Con thuong rau dang moc sau he and Ba Nam. In both performances, the boy moved the three judges – Toc Tien, Van Mai Huong, Isaac – and the audience in the auditorium to tears.
With the performance of Ba Nam, Ho Van Cuong really made the hall explode. The performance was beautifully staged with a thatched house, a garden and had the participation of Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu. She said this was the second time she played Ba Nam on stage, the first time was for singer Phi Nhung. The veteran artist gave many compliments to Ho Van Cuong for his emotional, close and touching voice.

Judge Van Mai Huong commented: “I was really shocked when my son sang the first lines. It felt like an electric current ran through both sides of me, making me shiver.” The runner-up of Vietnam Idol 2010 said that a singer’s shortcomings can be overlooked if he can express his emotions. And Ho Van Cuong did just that.
Before the final night began, MC Thao My announced that the top vote-getter at that time was Bao Tran, closely followed by Ho Van Cuong. This was a surprise because in the previous live competition nights, the poor boy from Tien Giang was still the contestant who received the highest total votes from the audience as well as the judges' scores. However, in the end, Ho Van Cuong was still the winner.
The boy from Tien Giang said he did not care about winning or losing. Ho Van Cuong confided before singing: "For me, the championship title is not important because from the beginning, I did not think far ahead that I would reach the finals." The boy's parents were also present to support their son. Both of them are quite shy and reluctant to interact with strangers.

Runner-up Bao Tran also had two powerful performances in the final night. In the first act, the “doughnut angel” performed the song Con Co again. Her performance was so convincing that singer Van Mai Huong declared that she wanted to stand on the same stage with the young singer in the future. In the second part, Bao Tran surprised the entire audience when she sang with vibrato and combined with vibrant choreography to Lady Gaga’s song - Born This Way. Toc Tien exclaimed: “I cried because I was so ‘scared’ of you. I couldn’t believe that at only 9-10 years old, you could sing like that. Tran, you were ‘born this way’ to become a ‘superstar’.”
Two boys Jayden and Gia Khiem also brought many emotions to the audience. The mixed-race Vietnamese contestant – Jayden – played the erhu himself to perform the song “Que Huong” in the first act. After that, he brought a quiet atmosphere with the song “We are the World”. Meanwhile, “hot boy” Gia Khiem showed two different colors in the two acts. If at first, he chose the Korean song “Bang Bang Bang” to stir up the atmosphere, then later, the rustic song “A Oi” was a reasonable choice for Gia Khiem’s voice.
