'Dog thief' slashed a person, stole a motorbike and escaped

(Baonghean.vn) - Two dog thieves stole a Sirius motorbike from a local resident to escape and left their Sirius motorbike at the scene along with the dog they had just caught.

Accordingly, at around 12 noon on November 27, Mr. Phan Van Duong (40 years old), residing in Van Dien hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, on his way home from a wedding, discovered two young men stealing a dog from a neighbor's family.

Immediately, Mr. Duong and the local people chased and arrested him. While fleeing, the two men pulled out swords, slashed Mr. Duong, and stole his Sirius motorbike to escape. Because he dodged in time, Mr. Duong was only slightly injured.

At the scene, the two subjects left behind a Sirius motorbike and a dog they had just stolen.

Upon receiving the news, Yen Thanh District Police promptly arrived, investigated and arrested the perpetrator.

Mr. Thai Huy Hoang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, confirmed the above information and added that the police initially determined that the owner of the motorbike left at the scene had a registered residence in Yen Thanh District.

Currently, Yen Thanh district police are investigating and arresting the subjects.
