Salleh collided with Nakin Wisetchat in the 82nd minute. He appeared to have suffered a head injury, forcing the referee to stop the match so that doctors could take care of him. The Brunei defender was unable to continue playing and had to be carried off on a stretcher before being taken to hospital in an ambulance.
