HAGL players gather at the new headquarters of U23 Vietnam
After more than half a day of traveling, 6 HAGL players and goalkeeper coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan arrived in Hanoi on the evening of May 4.
In order to better meet the logistical needs of Coach Miura and his team, VFF has decided to move the headquarters of U23 Vietnam from the Youth Training Center to a 3-star hotel located on Le Quang Dao Street (near My Dinh Stadium).
According to the plan, the players were to "meet" the Japanese coach on the afternoon of May 5. However, at 7:30 p.m. on May 4, 6 HAGL players and goalkeeper coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan were present at the new headquarters of U23 Vietnam.

"Pleiku Airport (Gia Lai) is closed for upgrading, so we have to travel nearly 200 km to Dak Lak before taking the flight to Hanoi. Because we have to travel many stages, the teachers and students proactively arrived in Hanoi early to rest before the first training session on the afternoon of May 5," a member of the HAGL Club shared.
The HAGL players were the first to arrive at the U23 Vietnam hotel. Coach Miura and his team will stay here for 20 days before leaving for Singapore to attend the 28th SEA Games.

Before 2:00 p.m. on May 5, all 30 U23 Vietnam players must be present for roll call at the new U23 Vietnam headquarters. The team is expected to have their first training session at 4:30 p.m. the same day.
The group of 6 SLNA players including Hoang Thinh, Phi Son, Manh Hung, Ngoc Hai, Phuc Tinh and Tuan Tai will travel on train SE20 to gather in Hanoi at exactly 2:00 p.m. on May 5.
Players living closer such as Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa... will take the initiative to bring their own vehicles and join the U23 Vietnam team on the morning of May 5.
On May 5, 19 members of the Vietnam National Team will also gather at La Thanh Hotel to prepare for the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.
