U23 Vietnam players receive bonus of over 51 billion VND before round 4 of V.League
(Baonghean.vn) - After the miracle at the final round of the U23 Asian Cup and winning the runner-up position, coach Park Hang Seo and his team still receive special attention from businesses and units.
Yesterday (March 30), the Vietnam Football Federation announced that the bonus for U23 Vietnam has reached more than 51 billion VND, previously it was nearly 43 billion VND. In addition, 10 other units gave in-kind rewards, while 17 units gave service rewards.
Among these, there are quite a few individuals who received separate rewards, such as FLC rewarding goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung 500 million VND. Midfielder Quang Hai was awarded a total of 300 million VND by businesses, not including material and service awards.

Before Tet, VFF transferred money to U23 Vietnam in 2 rounds. The first round was about 500 million VND, each player received 10 million VND. The second round was 15 billion VND, each starting player received 500 million VND.
According to the agreement of the coaching staff of the Vietnam U23 team, there are 4 bonus levels A, B, C, D, with level A for the head coach and starting players, the next levels for the assistant coach, reserve players, players who do not play any minutes and the medical and logistics department.
Because VFF does not intervene in the issue of bonus distribution of the Vietnam U23 team, coach Park Hang Seo has assigned the task to captain Luong Xuan Truong and the player classification committee to be able to give a suitable bonus level for each individual./.
Regarding the calculation of personal income tax on bonuses, VFF has not yet received a document from the General Department of Taxation, so it has retained 35% of the bonus amount (for the highest tax rate). In case the tax rate is lower, VFF will return it to Coach Park Hang Seo and his team, avoiding the situation where the team shares the bonus and then has to collect it again.
