Red lau belongs to the coffee family, is a small tree, 2-3m high. Young branches are reddish brown, older branches are dark gray. Leaves grow opposite, red spherical fruit. The tree grows naturally.
Many parts of the red lau tree are used as medicine according to folk experience.
Red cassia tree
Roots: Harvest year-round, best in autumn. Dig up, wash, dry or dry. When using, slice thinly, leave raw or stir-fry. The medicinal herb has a bitter taste, cool properties, is non-toxic, has the effect of clearing heat, detoxifying, dispelling wind and dampness, and regenerating tissue.

Treat malaria: 40g red lau leaves, 40g custard apple leaves, 30g cotton tree bark, 20g common lacquer leaves. Chop all, dry, roast until golden brown, bury in the ground. Boil and drink twice a day.
Cure toothache, tooth decay: 50g red betel leaf bark, boil to concentrate and take the water to gargle.
External use: 50g red lau leaves, half fresh, boiled in water to wash, the other half dried, finely ground, sprinkled to treat eczema, itching, and oozing blisters. To treat wounds and prevent infection, take 50g red lau leaves, wash, chop, boil with water until thick.
