Officers and soldiers of Dien Thanh Border Guard Station participate in voluntary blood donation

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the 2014 Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Plan launched by the Dien Chau District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, on the morning of September 28, officers and youth union members of Dien Thanh Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard, voluntarily donated 16 units of blood.

Deeply understanding the significance of blood donation, from early morning, all officers and soldiers were present to participate in the 2014 blood donation. Due to good propaganda and mobilization work, this year, the number of blood units donated by volunteers of Dien Thanh Border Guard Station exceeded 4 units of blood (1 unit of blood = 250ml of blood) compared to 2013.

Soldiers are a force of enthusiastic youth union members participating in the HMTN.

It is known that in recent years, the blood donation activities of Dien Thanh Border Guard Station have become a regular humanitarian movement, contributing practically to the emergency and treatment of patients needing blood at hospitals in the district, recognized and commended by the People's Committee of Dien Chau district.
