Nghe An Trade Union responds to Workers' Month 2013
In the first quarter, the Trade Union directed grassroots trade union organizations to successfully hold conferences for civil servants and public employees, thereby amending and supplementing regulations in accordance with new task requirements; organizing thoughtful visits and gift-giving to policy beneficiaries on the occasion of Tet; organizing activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate spring; celebrating International Women's Day on March 8; signing commitments to implement population policies, responding to the Week of Occupational Safety and Health - Fire Prevention and Fighting.
At the conference, delegates gave their opinions and plans to respond to Workers' Month 2013 and tasks for the second quarter. Accordingly, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union will organize a training course on women's work on the Population Ordinance and trade union finance for the Women's Union for grassroots union officials; organize badminton and table tennis tournaments; organize a meeting with outstanding female union officials in 2013. Responding to Workers' Month, the Civil Servants' Union mobilized each grassroots union organization to support from 150,000 to 300,000 VND to build a legal bookcase to give to workers in industrial parks in the area. On this occasion, the Executive Committee conducted a vote to introduce the staff planning of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union for the 2017-2022 term. As a result, 100% of the recommended union staff met the required number of votes.
