(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 14, in Vinh city, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union held a conference to summarize union activities in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015.

Nghe An Civil Servants' Union includes 44 grassroots unions with over 3,500 cadres, civil servants, public employees and union members. Over the past year, the movement of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in grassroots unions continued to develop well in carrying out political tasks and activities to ensure social security. Unions at all levels have actively participated in implementing grassroots democracy regulations, done a good job of reforming administrative procedures, improving public ethics and serving the people. Civil Servants' Union also focuses on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, and mobilizing union members to participate actively in social activities.

In 2014, the union coordinated with the professional sector to improve qualifications, organize training courses to improve knowledge of occupational safety and health, propose salary increases and job transfers for more than 1,000 cadres, civil servants, and public employees... The dissemination of laws was promoted, contributing to raising political awareness for union members. Coordinated with the professional sector to implement emulation movements, motivating cadres, civil servants, and public employees to fulfill their political tasks well. The organization of the union and women's activities were focused on, the activities of the union at all levels closely followed the work program and performed well the assigned tasks; there were innovations in a number of activities attracting a large number of cadres and union members to participate.

Promoting the achieved results, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union deploys tasks for the coming year focusing on the following contents: participating in management, administrative reform, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of civil servants and employees; propaganda and education work; developing union members, building a strong union organization and women's work. At the conference, the provincial civil servants' union launched the 2015 emulation movement to encourage cadres, civil servants and employees to enthusiastically compete to perform tasks with "Productivity, quality and efficiency". On this occasion, the provincial civil servants' union also summarized and awarded 11 individuals who won the contest to learn about "Content and methods of women's work" in 2014.
