Rectifying the exploitation, transportation and consumption of construction sand and gravel

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 4848/VPCP-KTN dated July 1, 2014 of the Government Office on illegal river sand mining. To seriously and effectively implement the direction of the Prime Minister, on July 7, 2014, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4714/UBND-TN on rectifying the exploitation, transportation and consumption of construction sand and gravel in the province. The Provincial People's Committee requests:

Departments: Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development; Provincial Police; People's Committees of districts, cities and towns: Based on assigned fields and management areas, promptly implement solutions to rectify sand and gravel exploitation and transportation activities on riverbeds; proactively advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to handle issues beyond its authority.
