(Baonghean.vn) - Phan Dang Hoang, a young man from Nghe An who paints portraits, continues to be honored by a leading color magazine in the United States. Previously, Hoang was also formally introduced by the American magazine Art People in September this year.

On December 1, 2016, Colored Pencil magazine, one of the leading color magazines in the United States, released its last issue of the year across the entire United States. In this issue, 16-year-old Nghe An boy Phan Dang Hoang became the first Vietnamese face to appear with a special 3-page interview.

To date, Phan Dang Hoang is the first and only Vietnamese person to appear in this leading American color magazine. Hoang is also the youngest person to be honored by this magazine to date. This magazine is also sponsored by more than 20 famous pencil color lines in the world.

In an interview with Colored Pencil magazine, Hoang shared: “My parents and family are the ones who have helped me a lot, without them I would not have been able to pursue my passion.” Talking about his passion, Hoang told the magazine: The moment I hold a pen to draw is the happiest moment in my life, and he sent a message to young artists to keep their passion, no matter how difficult it is, always try to succeed and luck will smile on you.

Although they are just small marks, they are the motivation for me to try harder.”
