When arriving at Mr. M's house, Hoa climbed over the brick fence adjacent to the concrete road behind the house to enter Mr. M's garden. When passing the bathroom area, Hoa saw Mr. M. brushing his teeth inside, so he went in. Mr. M. turned around and asked, "What's wrong?" At that time, Hoa stood facing Mr. M. and said, "Here it is," then simultaneously swung his knife and slashed at Mr. M.into Mr. M's left ear and left cheek, causing injury.
Suddenly slashed, Mr. M. ran away and climbed over the fence to Highway 48E to call for help, but Hoa continued to chase Mr. M. with a knife. However, after tripping and falling, the subject stopped chasing Mr. M. and took the knife back to his house.

On August 23, 2022, the victim Hoang Van M. submitted a request for an assessment of the injury rate caused by Hoang Van Hoa.
In the Forensic Examination Conclusion on Injury No. 404/TTPY dated September 6, 2022 of the Forensic Center of Nghe An Department of Health, it was concluded that: The rate of bodily injury of Mr. Hoang Van M. is 12%.
Because the defendant Hoang Van Hoa is a relative (Hoa calls Mr. M. his uncle), is in difficult circumstances and is raising a young child, the victim, Mr. Hoang Van M., submitted a petition to reduce the defendant's sentence, and did not request the defendant to compensate for any damage to health or mental loss.
At the trial, the defendant submitted a written agreement to compensate the victim 6.5 million VND.
At the end of the trial, the panel sentenced Hoang Van Hoa to 12 months in prison./.
