Fire at the headquarters under construction of the Vinh City Tax Department, Nghe An

(Baonghean) -At around 6:00 p.m. today, September 3, a fire broke out at the Vinh City Tax Department's headquarters under construction on Le Mao Street, fortunately without serious consequences.

According to construction workers, the fire broke out on the 6th floor, possibly due to an electrical short circuit. At the time of the fire, smoke billowed out of the building’s windows.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Nghe An Fire Police dispatched two specialized vehicles and promptly deployed fire fighting plans. By around 6:30 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished.

The fire broke out during rush hour, so many curious people came to watch, causing a local traffic jam on Le Mao Street. Immediately afterwards, the traffic police force was also present to promptly direct traffic.

The fire was promptly extinguished, relieving the worries of many people, because the location of the fire was next to the Vinh City People's Committee headquarters and a densely populated residential area in the city center.

Thus, in just 2 days, September 2 and 3, there were 2 consecutive fires in Vinh City. In particular, the fire at CK Plaza Shopping Center caused an estimated loss of nearly 20 billion VND.
