Oil heaters cost from 1.2 - 2.3 million VND/piece... Heaters priced from 1 - 2 million VND are always highly appreciated for their quality and functionality. Meanwhile, cheap heaters and heating lamps are both quick to break and consume a lot of electricity. Mr. Nghia added: “To save money, I chose to buy cheap products, but because of the cheap price, last winter I had to replace 3 heating lamps…”.

Beware of the downsides

Although it is a useful product in winter, heating equipment also has many things to note for users.

These devices can be dangerous for users, especially children and the elderly. Moreover, "fake" products often consume more electricity than genuine products.

According to Ms. Nguyen Lieu Ha, residing in Xuan La ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi, there are many products on the market that do not have the correct quality standards announced on the packaging and labels, and the safety of the products has not been assessed by any agency. Moreover, the prices are "sky-high", many stores even "look at the customer's face" to quote prices.
