School fire in Myanmar, 13 children died
All the children suffocated when a bedroom in the school caught fire at 2:40 a.m. on April 2 (local time).
Early on April 2, a fire caused by an electrical short circuit at an Islamic school in Yangon (Myanmar) killed 13 children. All of them suffocated when the school's bedroom caught fire at 2:40 a.m. on April 2 (local time). According to initial reports, an electrical short circuit and overloading of electricity were the main causes of the fire.

Myanmar police said that so far, at least 42 people have been killed, 93 injured, about 12,000 people have been evacuated, 37 religious structures and more than 1,200 houses have been destroyed in the violence in the central region./.
