Motorbike fire in house, 2 children died
At around 4am this morning, September 17, a fire broke out at house number 15/12, street number 7, Thanh My Loi ward, district 2, Ho Chi Minh city, causing the death of two children.
According to local residents, when they discovered black smoke coming from the house, many people quickly used three water hoses to spray the fire inside. At that time, on the first floor, there were two girls, Nguyen Thi Kim Huyen (14 years old) and Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong (10 years old), who were sleeping soundly. The door was locked because their parents had gone to work early.
The SH motorbike was burned to the frame.
People quickly broke the door and rushed into the room and found the two children lying motionless on the mattress and showing signs of not breathing, so they were quickly transferred to District 2 Hospital for emergency treatment. However, the two children were determined to have died from smoke inhalation. According to initial assessment, the fire broke out from the SH motorbike placed at the foot of the stairs.
