Drowned while transporting tomb building materials across the river

(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:00 p.m. on February 4, at Long Thai dam, hamlet 2, Thai Son commune, Do Luong district, a drowning incident occurred.

The cause was determined to be that Mr. Hoang Van Truong and Mr. Hoang Dinh Hoa in hamlet 2, Thai Son commune used a motorboat to transport materials across Long Thai dam to build a tomb, but due to carelessness while driving, the boat capsized.

The accident caused both people to fall into the dam. Hoang Van Truong was able to swim to shore and escaped death, but Hoang Dinh Hoa drowned.

Immediately after receiving the news, Fire Police Department No. 5 sent officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with the District Military Command and Thai Son Commune authorities to organize the search. However, due to the deep dam and high water level, the search was very difficult. At 3:25 p.m. on February 5, the victim's body was found.

Immediately afterwards, the Fire Police Department No. 5, the District Military Command and the Thai Son Commune government handed over the victim's body to the family for burial./.
