(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing to implement Notice No. 622 of the Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee and Decision No. 2091 of the Vinh City People's Committee on establishing an interdisciplinary team to collect and handle tax arrears, the Vinh City Tax Department has just organized enforcement and property seizure against Ms. Tran Thi Linh, a food business owner at 202 Truong Chinh Street, Le Loi Ward.
Ms. Tran Thi Linh has owed the State tax for nearly a year now, with an amount of more than 6.2 million VND. Although the Ward Police and Vinh City Tax Department have actively promoted, mobilized, and urged tax debt collection, Ms. Tran Thi Linh still does not comply with paying taxes and fines according to State regulations.
At the enforcement session, the City Tax Department drew up a record and seized assets including business items such as tables, chairs, fans, ice cabinets, etc. If after 30 days, Ms. Tran Thi Linh still refuses to pay taxes and fines as prescribed, the Vinh City Tax Department will auction the assets to pay to the State budget.
