Instructing schools in Nghe An to handle leaning and termite-infested trees
(Baonghean.vn) - That is the direction of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, aiming to guide schools to selectively handle trees, not to cut trees indiscriminately, affecting the green space of schools.
Accordingly, to ensure the safety of the tree system in schools, the Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to proactively contact and coordinate with specialized agencies to conduct a review of all trees on campus. In particular, trees that are leaning or have signs of termites must be immediately handled.
With perennial trees, it is necessary to pay attention to pruning branches, cutting off rotten or damaged branches to avoid the tree falling and causing accidents.

Regarding this issue, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training also said: Cutting down rotten and old trees is necessary. However, the Department's viewpoint is to consider carefully before cutting down trees, not cutting down trees in a uniform and mechanical manner, affecting the green and friendly space of schools.
In addition, schools need to regularly check school grounds, especially the grounds inside and outside the school fences related to school safety; proactively reinforce and repair to prevent thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hail.
