Directing response and support, overcoming the consequences of storm No. 2

To support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 2 and stabilize their lives soon, the Provincial People's Committee has decided: for rice areas with more than 70% loss: support funding for farmers to buy seeds at a rate of 1.5 million VND/ha of hybrid rice; 1 million VND/ha of pure rice. Areas with 30-70% loss: support funding to buy seeds at a rate of 0.75 million VND/ha of hybrid rice; 0.5 million VND/ha of pure rice. For corn, peanuts and various vegetables areas with damage of more than 70%: support 1,000,000 VND/ha; areas with damage of 30-70%: support 500,000 VND/ha. For industrial crops and perennial fruit trees with damage of more than 70%; Support 2,000,000 VND/ha, areas with damage from 30%-70%: support 1,000,000 VND/ha. Support for dead poultry: maximum 15,000 VND/head, support for dead pigs: 500,000 VND/head, support for dead buffalo, cows, horses: 2,000,000 VND/head. For aquaculture areas with damage over 70%: support 5 million VND/ha; for areas with damage from 30-70%: support 3,000,000 VND/ha; support for damaged aquaculture cages and rafts (Only support for areas with damage over 70%): 5 million VND/cage, raft.

Along with that, the Provincial People's Committee has decided to allocate 2,182,200,000 VND from the provincial budget in 2011 to the districts to support the recovery of people's lives due to the impact of storm No. 2. Support families with dead or missing people 4.5 million VND; families with seriously injured people 1.5 million VND; families whose houses were swept away 10 million VND and support families whose houses collapsed, collapsed, severely damaged, and had to urgently relocate due to the risk of landslides and flash floods: 6 million VND/household. Particularly, families in difficult areas as prescribed by the Prime Minister will be supported 7 million VND/household; support for severely damaged boats 6 million VND.
