BIDV Phu Dien Branch: Presenting Great Solidarity houses to poor households in Quy Chau

(Baonghean.vn)-On the morning of December 3, 2014, in Chau Nga commune, Quy Chau district, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) - Phu Dien Branch organized the handover of the Great Unity house to Mr. Lim Van Cai in Tan Tien village, Chau Nga commune.

The total amount of support worth 50 million VND was taken from the social activities fund and savings of BIDV Phu Dien Branch staff, helping Mr. Lim Van Cai build and renovate his house and buy 01 breeding cow. Mr. Lim Van Cai is a particularly poor household with no house. To build a house for him, Chau Nga Commune People's Committee supported land and house frame structure (using old school facilities), the Bank supported construction costs.

This is one of the regular social activities of BIDV Phu Dien Branch. Although operating in Nghe An for a short time, along with promoting business, the Branch has had many social security activities and helped the poor in the area. Previously, in July 2014, the Branch supported Hoang Mai Medical Center with 01 ambulance worth over 900 million VND and in September 2014 supported 11 million VND to buy 2,500 notebooks to give to students in Chau Nga commune (Quy Chau)/.
