HD Bank Nghe An Branch: Giving money to support the construction of charity houses
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 18, 2014, at Noong O village and Cha Lan village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HD Bank) - Nghe An Branch presented gifts to support poor households in building houses.
Also attending the gift-giving ceremony were representatives of the People's Committee of Ky Son district.

Huu Lap is a remote and disadvantaged commune of Ky Son district. Currently, 40.1% of the total 607 households in the commune are still poor; of which Noong O village has 100% Thai ethnic group but 55/100 households are poor, while Cha Lan village has 100% Kho Mu ethnic group, and 77/115 households are poor. The total amount of money that HD Bank Nghe An Branch supported this time includes 60 million VND to build 2 houses, each worth 30 million VND. Two extremely poor households receiving support money are Mr. Luong May Thang (35 years old) in Noong O village and Mr. Mong Van Nghia (35 years old) in Cha Lan village.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Bac - Director of HD Bank Nghe An Branch said: The above amount is the 2014 budget to support poor households of the Branch for Huu Lap Commune as assigned by the People's Committee of Nghe An Province. Through the support, the Branch helps poor households in Ky Son reduce difficulties and improve living conditions; at the same time, it hopes that the households will try to do business and improve their lives.
