Vietcombank Trung Do Branch gives gifts to support poor commune Chau Phong

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the program to help poor communes as assigned by the People's Committee of Nghe An province, on the morning of August 16, 2014, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Trung Do Branch went to Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district to present a sponsorship of 35 million VND to help the commune.

The above amount was taken from the welfare fund of Vietcombank Trung Do staff in 2014 and used to repair 6 classrooms worth 30 million VND and give 10 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND, to poor students of Chau Phong 2 Primary School.

Thus, after 3 years of implementing Decision No. 1310/QD-UBND of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Trung Do Branch has sponsored Chau Phong commune with 350 million VND to invest in self-flowing water works; purchase medical and educational equipment; build houses for poor households and give gifts to poor households and policy families, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives.
