Vietcombank Trung Do branch gives gifts to Chau Phong commune

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 17, 2016, Vietcombank Trung Do Branch visited and gave gifts to the poor commune of Chau Phong - Quy Chau.

Chau Phong is one of the remote and difficult communes, about 25 km from the center of Quy Chau district. Currently, the whole commune has over 6,675 people, of which poor households account for 48.85%. The gifts that Vietcombank gave to Chau Phong commune in 2015 were worth 75 million VND, including a set of computers and photocopiers worth 55 million VND and 20 million VND given to 40 poor households, each gift worth 500 thousand VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Viet Phong - representative of Vietcombank Trung Do Branch sent New Year wishes to the villagers. The gifts were donations from the Branch's staff to help the commune have more working equipment, suitable for the conditions when the commune has the national power grid. To effectively use the equipment, the Branch trained and instructed the commune staff to use it well and at the same time hoped that the commune would manage it well so that the equipment would last long.
