Details of the traffic diversion and road closure plan for the national cycling race through Nghe An
The 37th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup National Cycling Race 2025 with the theme "Unified Country" will pass through Nghe An province in April 2025. Organization and traffic flow have been planned to ensure the safety and success of the event.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to coordinate the organization of the National Cycling Race.Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup37th time in 2025 - "The country is united" in the province.
The race is held to celebrate major national holidays, including the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). This is a prestigious sporting event, attracting the participation of many leading racers across the country; at the same time, the race through Nghe An province also contributes to promoting the image of Nghe An to domestic and international friends.

According to plan, the racing team will pass through Nghe An in 3 important stages:
Stage 5 (April 7, 2025): From Thanh Hoa City to Vinh City, distance 139 km. The racing team will finish at the intersection of Truong Thi - An Duong Vuong at around 10:30 am. Specific route: National Highway 1, Northern Bus Station, Nghi Kim overpass, Quan Banh overpass, turn left onto Xieng Khouang Street, airport intersection, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Le Nin Avenue and finish.
Stage 6 (April 8, 2025): Team time at Cua Lo beach, distance 24 km. Route: Binh Minh Square, Binh Minh Street, Hoang Ta Thon intersection, Cua Hoi roundabout and return to the finish line at Binh Minh Square.
Stage 7 (April 10, 2025): From Vinh City to Ha Tinh - Quang Binh, distance 197.5 km. Starting from Ho Chi Minh Square, passing Truong Thi - An Duong Vuong intersection, turn left at the roundabout onto Le Duan Street, Nguyen Du Street, Ben Thuy 1 Bridge and go to Ha Tinh.
Relevant departments, branches and localities are assigned to closely coordinate to ensure traffic safety, security and order and support the organization, ensuring the race through Nghe An is successful.
To ensure the safety of athletes and residents, the Organizing Committee will implement temporary road closures and traffic diversions on the routes the race will pass through. Specifically:
Stage 5:Traffic will be banned and lanes will be separated when the race enters Vinh City, from 10:00 - 10:30. Affected routes include National Highway 1 from Quan Banh overpass to the Northern Bus Station, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Le Nin Avenue and the Truong Thi - An Duong Vuong intersection.
Stage 6:The entire Binh Minh Street from Cua Hoi roundabout to Hoang Ta Thon is closed from 08:00 - 09:30. Vehicles will be guided to move along bypass routes such as Nguyen Sinh Cung and Cua Hoi coastal road.
Stage 7:Traffic will be diverted from Truong Thi - An Duong Vuong intersection to Ben Thuy 1 bridge from 06:15 - 06:45. Traffic will be prohibited on Le Duan and Nguyen Du streets during the race. Traffic will be diverted via Tran Phu street and other bypasses.
