Ky Son District announces traffic diversion and route closure for the 2024 Western Nghe An Marathon
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Ky Son district has just issued Notice No. 16/TB-UBND dated February 16, 2024, diverting and closing the road to ensure traffic safety for the 2024 Western Nghe An Marathon.
Accordingly, to ensure the safety of athletes and facilitate the organization of the 2024 Western Nghe An Marathon, which will be held from February 17-18, 2024 (ie from January 8-9 of the lunar calendar) in Ky Son, the People's Committee of Ky Son district will coordinate with relevant agencies to divide traffic and close specific routes as follows:
Aboutvtraffic lane location:
Specifically, the traffic flow of the tournament section is: From the gate of Ky Son High School to the intersection between National Highway 7 and Provincial Road 543D (Muong Xen Bridge intersection) corresponding to the route from Km193+00 to Km 203+400 of National Highway 7.
Aboutvtraffic closure location:
From Km 100+00 (intersection of National Highway 7 and Provincial Road 543D, Muong Xen Bridge junction) to Km 75+00, Provincial Road 543D.
Time starts from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on February 18, 2024.
During the time of traffic diversion and closure, the People's Committee of Ky Son district requests drivers and road users to strictly comply with and follow the instructions of competent authorities regulating traffic at the scene.
Ky Son District People's Committee informs vehicle owners and traffic participants to be aware and proactive in traveling on the above-mentioned road section.
The 2024 Western Nghe An Marathon was held for the first time in Ky Son district. After 3 months of launching, it attracted 800 athletes to participate. Specifically: 379 athletes in the 5 km distance, 126 athletes in the 10 km distance, 193 athletes in the 21 km distance and 102 athletes in the 42 km distance.
