"I wanted to do something new, something I love to do," said Mohamed Shawesh, CEO of Shawish Jewelers. "(The ring) shows what Shawish is capable of. And that's our mission, to make our customers' dreams come true."
According to the Daily Mail, the company used advanced laser technology to ensure that the manufacturing process did not affect the structure or quality of the diamond. A large hole was drilled right in the middle of the large stone using this technology.
Previously, Shawish jewelry company has designed diamond rings for many celebrities around the world, including singer Beyonce's engagement ring with an 18-carat diamond.
