Border guards are intelligent and brave.
(Baonghean) -That is Lieutenant Dang Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Team of Hanh Dich - Que Phong Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard).
In late April and early May 2010, implementing Project 303L of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command, Khanh was assigned by the station command to grasp the situation of drug crime group activities in the area to propose effective combat plans.
After a period of monitoring, realizing that the opportunity to solve the case was ripe, at 11 p.m. on May 6, a secret task force marched to the ambush location. Khanh was assigned to determine the route that the subject would transport drugs, and at the same time choose an ambush location to effectively capture and ensure the safety of the force. At about 10:30 a.m., at the ambush location, the scouts discovered a suspicious subject carrying a handbag walking down from a hut in Muong Long village, Tri Le commune (Que Phong). Receiving the signal from the team leader, Khanh jumped out and shouted "stop", surprised, the subject froze for a moment, then quickly pulled out a knife from his waist to fight back with an extremely aggressive attitude. As quick as lightning, with a kick, Khanh kicked the subject's knife away, controlled and knocked him down, creating conditions for his teammates to rush in to help lock his arms. Quickly searching his luggage, the task force discovered two cakes of heroin in his bag.
With the intelligence, bravery and ingenuity of Khanh and his teammates, that drug crime arrest ensured absolute safety of people and weapons, contributing to preventing drug crime activities in the area.
In the early morning of October 17, 2012, implementing the plan to fight against the "312L" project, Khanh and his teammates arrested Va Ba Chung (born in 1993, from Huoi Xai village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district) when he was carrying 2 cakes of heroin to sell. "The drug criminals, mostly with hunting guns, were going from Muong Long village, Tri Le commune to Chau Thon commune. Waiting for the 2 subjects to completely enter the ambush formation, a sharp command "stop" was heard. Being experienced criminals, the 2 of them pulled out their guns to fight back, but the detectives quickly approached, and Dang Quoc Khanh himself used martial arts to knock down and handcuff the subjects when one of them had a pistol with 8 bullets before it could "fire". The remaining subject was knocked down, controlled by other detectives and 1 sports gun and 3 loaded bullets were confiscated.
