Police officer returns more than 10 million VND to the person who lost it

(Baonghean.vn) - After finding a wallet with more than 10 million VND, Nguyen Cong Giang (23 years old), a police officer on duty, went to the Do Luong district police station to return it to the owner.

On the afternoon of October 15, on the way from Tan Son commune to Do Luong town, when passing by the gate of Do Luong bus station, Mr. Giang picked up a brown leather wallet of the POLO brand.

Checking the wallet, there was more than 10 million VND and some documents including ID card, A1 driver's license in the name of Nguyen Tung Lam, residing in Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city. Mr. Giang went to Do Luong district police headquarters to report and hand over all the assets, asking the police to find the person at the above address to return them.

Do Luong District Police returned the money to the person who lost it.

At noon on October 16, Do Luong District police contacted Ben Thuy Ward police to find the address of the person who lost the property and invited Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam to come and receive all the lost property.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Giang is currently performing his second year of police service at the South Central Mobile Regiment of Binh Dinh province.
