Ship sinks at sea in Nha Trang, 8 crew members missing
On the morning of November 9, the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region 4 (Nha Trang MRCC) said that rescue vehicles of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (Vietnam MRCC) are still urgently using all measures to search for the eight missing crew members of the Phuc Xuan 68 ship that sank at sea.

Previously, at 1:15 a.m. the same day, Vietnam MRCC received an emergency distress report from the Nam Vy 69 ship, which was en route from Phu My to Quy Nhon, when it collided with the Phuc Xuan 68 ship, which was en route from Hai Phong to Vung Tau.
The Phuc Xuan 68 ship sank, with 11 crew members on board. The location of the accident was 15 nautical miles off the coast of Nha Trang city.
Immediately, the Vietnam Maritime Administration ordered the rescue ship SAR27-01 and the high-speed canoes CN01-TSA, CN02-TSA of Vietnam MRCC, which are on duty at Nha Trang wharf, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, to urgently go to the scene to search and rescue the 11 crew members of the Phuc Xuan 68 ship.
At 3:40 a.m., rescue ship SAR27-01 found three crew members of the Phuc Xuan 68 ship drifting at sea in a state of panic and very poor health.
Rescue forces on board SAR27-01 performed first aid and initial health care./.
