Specifically, in Official Dispatch No. 8864/VPCP-KTTH signed on October 22 by Deputy Head of the Government Office Nguyen Van Tung, it is stated: Recently, the press has had many articles reflecting the fact that three telecommunications companies simultaneously increased 3G service prices to the same level, showing signs of "colluding", abusing their dominant market position in violation of competition laws. The price increase is baseless and unreasonable.
Therefore, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to direct the competition management agency to promptly grasp the situation of the case. If there are signs of violations of competition law, they must investigate and handle it in accordance with the law; and report the results to the Prime Minister./.
