Specifically, in Official Dispatch No. 8864/VPCP-KTTH signed on October 22 by Deputy Head of the Government Office Nguyen Van Tung, it is stated that: Recently, the press has had many articles reflecting the fact that three telecommunications companies simultaneously increased 3G service prices to the same level, showing signs of "colluding", abusing their dominant market position and violating competition laws. The price increase is baseless and unreasonable.
Therefore, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to direct the competition management agency to promptly grasp the situation of the case; if there are signs of violations of competition law, to conduct an investigation and handle it in accordance with the provisions of law; and report the results to the Prime Minister./.
