"According to the Russia-Ukraine agreement signed in 2003, foreign military vessels can only enter the waters of the Sea of Azov with the consent of both Russia and Ukraine," Mr. Muradov reminded.
According to him, Moscow will certainly not give this consent. At the same time, he called the appearance of foreign warships in the Sea of Azov unacceptable.
Mr. Muradov also expressed the opinion that the November provocation in the Kerch Strait was created by the Ukrainian government to invite Western ships to the area.
