According to information from the Ministry of Finance on the evening of December 19, based on the above ceiling, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is responsible for guiding the determination of specific ticket prices applied uniformly to airlines.

Decision 3282/QD-BTC, issued on the evening of December 19, also clearly states that airlines regulate ticket prices for each route or group of routes, but must not exceed the price guidelines of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.

Airlines are also required to declare specific prices to competent State agencies before making price adjustments and to list prices in accordance with regulations.

Previously, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam sent a document to the Ministry of Transport requesting the Ministry of Finance to adjust the ceiling price of tickets due to the sharp decrease in fuel prices.

Accordingly, in December 2014, the price of Jet A1 gasoline in Asia was about 84.7 USD/barrel, import tax 7%, including import tax, the price of Jet A1 gasoline was 90.63 USD/barrel. Compared to the fuel price calculated in the maximum price frame plan of the Ministry of Finance, the fuel price decreased by 43.4%./.
