Official launch of the Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery Association

On the afternoon of December 27, in Hanoi, the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery held its official launching ceremony.

Professor Trinh Dinh Hai, President of the Vietnam Association of Dentistry, said: This is a recognition of a specialty that holds an extremely important position in the field of surgery in general and dentistry in particular in Vietnam and around the world.

The establishment of the association is a condition for surgical specialists to gather and develop the profession in the right direction from central to local levels.

The Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery is a gathering place for professors, leading experts, and technicians in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Vietnam.

In recent times, the field of maxillofacial surgery has continuously updated and successfully applied many new techniques in the fields of maxillofacial orthopedic surgery, craniofacial surgery, autologous bone grafting, dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, etc.

At the same time, regularly exchange and update knowledge, skills and advanced techniques in specialized fields; organize domestic and international scientific conferences, transfer new techniques in the treatment of dental diseases as well as plastic surgery.

These activities have helped Vietnamese dentists gain more experience in applying advanced techniques from countries around the world, contributing to helping maxillofacial surgeons improve and enhance the quality of dental examination and treatment to better meet the increasingly high demand for health care and protection./.
