(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 68th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2015), these days Regiment 335 has organized a campaign to clean up the environment at the Vietnam - Laos martyrs cemetery.

The road to the monument at the Vietnam - Laos Cemetery has been decorated with flags and flowers.

The Vietnam - Laos Martyrs' Cemetery is located on Highway 7, in Anh Town, with an area of ​​6.8 hectares, and is the resting place of 10,367 martyrs, Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts. Of which, about 3,500 graves have names and hometowns, the rest are unknown martyrs. Since 1997, on July 27 every year, Nghe An province and Anh Son district have organized the "When drinking water, remember its source" festival at the Vietnam - Laos Martyrs' Cemetery. This is a special festival with a noble humanitarian meaning, with the spirit of "repaying gratitude", remembering and showing gratitude to those who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones for the independence of the nation, for the noble spirit of internationalism.

Thereby contributing to making the cemetery always a destination of history, spirituality and a place to educate the nation's patriotism.
