French politician calls on Zelensky to resign for peace in Ukraine
The path to peace in Ukraine lies in the resignation of Vladimir Zelensky, the leader of the French Patriotic Party Florian Philippot said on March 3.
Bloomberg reported on Monday that some aides to US President Donald Trump are pushing for Mr Zelensky's resignation as part of any potential deal on the conflict in Ukraine.

Mr Zelensky himself believes that “it will not be easy” to replace him or “prevent” him from participating in potential elections in Ukraine, Sky News reported.
“The path to peace lies in the departure of Mr. Zelensky,” Mr. Philippot wrote on the social network X.
Mr Zelensky's presidential term expires on May 20, 2024. Ukraine's presidential election was annulled last year due to martial law and military mobilization. Mr Zelensky has said that the current election is inappropriate.
