Will the 9 HAGL players being called up to the Vietnam Olympic team affect Coach Grachen's preparation for the V-League?

- I am very happy that up to 9 HAGL players were highly appreciated by Coach Miura and called up to the Vietnam Olympic team. This is very good, good news and it does not affect HAGL's preparation process in the V-League, because I believe that when we join the Olympic team, our players' level and experience will increase, not decrease.

According to you, compared to teammates from other clubs, do the 9 HAGL players called up to the Olympic team this time face any more difficulties or disadvantages?

- No, I see them all the same and there is no disadvantage. Coach Miura is a serious and fair worker, so the players selected for the Olympic team this time are certainly highly appreciated by him.

I believe the competition on the Olympic team will be very fair, because coach Miura is a principled and fair person, so he will not favor anyone.

So what do you think when many HAGL players got injured during the training sessions of the Vietnam Olympic team?

- Apart from Luong Xuan Truong’s previous injury, has any HAGL player suffered a serious injury during Coach Miura’s training sessions? Cases like Hong Duy and Thanh Tung only suffered muscle strain, resting for 1 or 2 sessions and then resuming training is completely normal… Some players from other clubs also suffered similar injuries.

I also want to say that although there are many cases of injuries during training sessions, we still hope that Coach Miura will continue to apply heavy physical exercises to the players.

Among the 9 HAGL players summoned, which player do you predict has the potential to shine and become a pillar of the Vietnam Olympic team?

- I don't have high expectations for any individual, including Cong Phuong, because now we can't say anything in advance, the kids need time to develop and perfect many more things.

For me, it doesn't matter who shines, what's important is that the players practice well and meet the requirements of Coach Miura in the Olympic team.

Do you believe that under the leadership of coach Miura, HAGL players will make a lot of progress?

- With this momentum, I am very confident and certain that my players will improve, even improve a lot, because Mr. Miura not only coaches well but also the high discipline he has set for the team from the beginning makes me very secure. Each coach has a different training method but in the end they all reach the goal.

With such high regard for Coach Miura, do you think one day you will invite this coach to work for HAGL Club?

- That's completely normal, if he is no longer on duty, I might sign a contract with him. Mr. Miura is a good coach, I like his lifestyle and working style, it is very suitable for the players at HAGL Club. And maybe I will invite a Japanese coach to lead HAGL.
