The President praised the National Children's Hospital for successfully transplanting a liver into a 9-month-old patient.
Upon hearing that a 9-month-old patient in Lam Dong province had just received a successful liver transplant from doctors at the National Children's Hospital and would be discharged on April 11, on the afternoon of April 10, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the staff, civil servants, and employees of the National Children's Hospital, especially the team that successfully performed the liver transplant on March 14.
The President emphasized that pediatric liver transplantation is one of the most difficult techniques in organ transplantation. Thanks to their continuous efforts to learn about professional and technical skills, the doctors of the National Children's Hospital have determined to completely master the pre-transplant examination process, transplant techniques, anesthesia, and resuscitation, contributing to opening up new hopes for families with children suffering from end-stage liver failure.
President Nguyen Xuan Phuc hopes that doctors and medical staff at the National Children's Hospital will continue to work in the spirit of "Dedication and quality for the health of Vietnamese children" to bring life to more children with serious illnesses.
