President hosts welcoming ceremony for President of Russian Federation

President Truong Tan Sang presided over the welcoming ceremony.
Also attending the welcoming ceremony for Russian President Vladimir Putin were Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai; Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh; Head of the Office of the President Dao Viet Trung; Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang; Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan; Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien; and Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan.
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh; Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, and leaders of Vietnamese ministries and sectors also attended the ceremony.
Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, President Truong Tan Sang and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his delegation visited and laid wreaths at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs and President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum./.
