President Truong Tan Sang visited and presented gifts to the Nghe An Nursing Center for seriously ill and wounded soldiers.

Continuing the working program in Nghe An, this morning, September 7, Comrade Truong Tan Sang - Politburo member, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Central working delegation visited and presented gifts to cadres, employees and wounded soldiers at the Nghe An Nursing Center for Severely Wounded Soldiers.

(Baonghean) -Continuing the working program in Nghe An, this morning, September 7, Comrade Truong Tan Sang - Politburo member, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Central working delegation visited and presented gifts to cadres, employees and wounded soldiers at the Nghe An Nursing Center for Severely Wounded Soldiers.

Accompanying the President, on the side of Nghe An province were comrades Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.






President Truong Tan Sang talked and listened to wounded soldiers express their feelings.

The Nursing Center is currently caring for 77 wounded soldiers, all of whom are seriously wounded, unable to work and have limited self-care. Over the past years, the staff of the Center has always overcome all difficulties to ensure the best health care, daily living, and spiritual and material life for wounded soldiers.

Speaking to cadres, employees and wounded soldiers, President Truong Tan Sang highly appreciated the efforts of Nghe An province, especially the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the work of gratitude and repayment to those who contributed to the revolution. He praised the wounded soldiers who, despite their high disability rate and poor health, always tried and trained with will and determination to overcome the difficulties and pain caused by illness to rise up in life.


The President gave gifts to the Nursing Center.

Presenting gifts to the wounded soldiers, the President wished them to continue to follow Uncle Ho's teaching "Wounded soldiers are disabled but not useless". Regarding the suggestions and recommendations of the wounded soldiers, the President promised to work with the central and local ministries and branches to implement and resolve them step by step in the coming time. The President asked the officers and staff of the Center to try and make efforts to do better in caring for the wounded soldiers, meeting the expectations of the Party and State on policies for people with meritorious services.
