National Assembly Chairman successfully concludes visit to Laos
The two sides highly appreciated the development of Vietnam-Laos relations, which are increasingly becoming deeper and more substantial.
Late in the afternoon of October 3, before leaving Vientiane, Laos, to return home, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and members of the Vietnamese National Assembly delegation attending the opening of the 7th Asia-Europe Inter-Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP7) in Laos, paid a courtesy visit to Lao General Secretary and President Chummaly Saynhasone and the 7th Asia-Europe Parliamentary High-Level Delegation to depart for home to successfully conclude their working trip.

During the visit to Laos and the opening of the 7th Asia-Europe Inter-Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP7) hosted by Laos in the capital Vientiane, the Vietnamese National Assembly delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung paid a courtesy visit to Lao General Secretary and President Chummaly Saynhasone; congratulated the Lao National Assembly, Government and people on hosting the 7th Asia-Europe Inter-Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP7) and the 9th Asia-Europe Summit which will open this coming November.
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung affirmed that the Party, National Assembly and people of Vietnam will continue to cooperate, support and assist Laos in multilateral forums for peace, development and prosperity in the region and the world. The National Assembly Chairman was pleased to see that the development of relations between the Parties, States, National Assemblies and people of the two countries continues to be consolidated and developed, increasingly deepening and achieving practical results.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese National Assembly delegation led by Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung met with Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong.
