The three cypress trees planted by the National Assembly Chairman and provincial leaders on the top of Chung Mountain, a replica of the one in the Square named after Uncle Ho, on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification and the International Labor Day on May 1st, are one of the activities to implement Uncle Ho's teachings, to strive to plant trees and protect the environment.

Visiting the tree garden in the simulated Chung Mountain area, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung hoped that the Ho Chi Minh Square Management Board and the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism would strengthen the care work, coordinate with the functional forces and the people to protect the trees. This is not only an activity of planting and protecting trees around the Uncle Ho statue but also creating a spread of awareness of planting trees and protecting the environment among the people.
