Chinese President Xi Jinping tours Latin America
On the morning of July 13, Chinese President Xi Jinping boarded a special plane leaving Beijing to begin a tour of Latin America.
This is the Chinese leader's second visit to the region since he took office in March last year.

According to a VNA reporter in Beijing, during this 10-day visit, President Xi Jinping will visit Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Cuba.
In Brazil, he will attend the BRICS summit, comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, and a meeting of China-Latin America and Caribbean leaders.
At the BRICS Summit, President Xi Jinping and leaders of the countries are expected to exchange views on promoting sustainable growth, promoting the establishment of the group's own development bank, and discuss current hot international and regional issues.
