Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee requested to construct Hanh Dich road on schedule
On March 5, Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Phong district inspected the project to upgrade the road from the center of Hanh Dich commune to Long Tien village, Hanh Dich commune.
The Hanh Dich - Long Tien traffic route is a vital route connecting National Highway 48 to the center of Hanh Dich commune, Sao Va Hydropower Plant, Muong Dan ancient Thai village, 7-storey waterfall tourist area and the primeval sa mu forest in Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, connecting with the border patrol route.
The investment in upgrading the road will create conditions and motivation to promote all aspects of socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction in a sustainable manner; protect national defense and security in border areas as well as serve the work of planting, caring for and protecting forests in the district.

However, as reported, due to land clearance problems,The Hanh Dich Road Upgrade Project (Que Phong) is behind schedule.
Through actual inspection, the project is facing problems such as: The road is located in the forest of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, there are 32 electric poles and local forests, there is a lack of land for filling but coordination procedures have not been completed. The households along the road have to lower the road level, so some houses are too low, some are too high.

After inspection, Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Phong district requested the contractor to add signs and some other contents. The Project Management Board closely worked with the contractor to mobilize machinery, human resources, and construction materials to speed up the progress of completing the project on schedule; urgently approved compensation for people's property.
The Chairman of the District People's Committee requested that by March 15, there must be a plan to relocate the electric poles and by March 30, the electric poles still stuck in this project must be relocated. Regarding the protective forest, after this inspection, the Project Management Board is required to coordinate with the forest rangers and the Pu Hoat Forest Management Board to submit to the Department of Agriculture and Environment for resolution.
The project to upgrade the road from the center of Hanh Dich commune to Long Tien village, Hanh Dich commune (Que Phong) is invested from the capital of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021 - 2025, with a total investment of more than 49 billion VND. The scale of the mountainous grade V road is 6.5m wide; the asphalt concrete road surface is 3.5m wide, with a longitudinal ditch system; the route length is approximately 5km.
