The report of the Department of Planning and Investment said: In the first 2 months of the year, the whole province has planted an estimated 85,200 hectares, equal to 102.4% compared to the same period last year. There have been some small outbreaks of avian influenza in the area. Regarding the construction of new rural areas, the whole province is focusing on directing 20 communes to register to reach the 2017 target. The area of ​​newly planted forests in the first 2 months is estimated at 700 hectares, an increase of 2.94% compared to the same period in 2016.

Industrial production growth index increased by 7.89% over the same period last year. Service revenue in February is estimated at 356.24 billion VND, up 13.26%; cumulative revenue for the first two months is estimated at 719.49 billion VND, up 11.26% over the same period. State budget revenue in the first two months of 2017 is estimated at 2,099 billion VND, reaching 18.1% of the estimate.

Foreign affairs and investment attraction have achieved many results. Concluding the socio-economic content of February, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the results achieved by all levels and sectors in February, especially investment attraction, foreign affairs, budget revenue reaching 2,099 billion VND, import and export increased by 32.2%.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also pointed out some problems such as complicated religious incidents, some flu outbreaks, traffic accidents increased in all three criteria compared to the previous month, environmental sanitation in some localities still revealed many shortcomings, inspection and supervision work of some sectors was not resolute. He requested sectors to direct the serious implementation of the Provincial People's Committee's instructions.

In March 2017, all sectors and levels need to urge and inspect the implementation of tasks from the province down to the grassroots level; effectively implement the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015-2020. Continue to strongly improve the investment environment, speed up the progress of key projects, promote industrial production, services, and implement new projects.

Sectors and levels must review and advise more actively on tasks related to their sectors, inspect, supervise, and urge serious implementation... Promote administrative reform, ensure security, order and social security, especially security in religious areas and rural areas. Quickly implement the conclusions of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister at the working sessions in Nghe An on February 18 and 19, right from the first months of the year.

At this meeting, the Provincial People's Committee also listened to and approved the report on the results of the implementation of the Conclusion Notice of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee at the regular meeting in January 2017; the expected program, plan, and plan for the defense zone exercise of Nghe An province and districts in 2017; the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on Science and Technology Development for the period 2016-2020, with a vision to 2025; the Draft Decision to amend the Price List for compensation of crops, livestock and aquatic products and relocation of graves in Nghe An; the Draft on adjusting and supplementing the planning for rural industry development, the investment project for the management and broadcasting system of Nghe An television channel...
