Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulates Song Lam Nghe An Club on Tet

(Baonghean.vn)- On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2014, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and wished a Happy New Year to the leaders and players of Song Lam Nghe An club.

Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Dinh Thi Le Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Cao Dang Vinh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and representatives of provincial agencies and departments.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee met and talked with the players of the SLNA Club's first team.

At Song Lam Nghe An Club, the delegation met with the Club's Board of Directors, Coach and first team players. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong affirmed that, regardless of the circumstances, Song Lam Nghe An Club is always a brand that is imprinted in the hearts of every Nghe An native, a source of pride not only for the 3 million people of the province but also the brainchild of Nghe An people living far from home. Wherever SLNA plays, it is always accompanied by Nghe An fans. Although the province's economy is facing difficulties, through different periods, the provincial leaders as well as the people always care about and accompany the club. In 2013, despite many financial and human resource difficulties, the teams of SLNA Football Club have achieved many remarkable achievements.

In 2014, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the players of SLNA teams will continue to contribute more to the fans, play beautifully in the spirit of sportsmanship and nobility, win for the fans and aim to at least be in the Top 3 of the V-League.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh affirmed: "SLNA is the most traditional and unique club in Vietnam."

On behalf of the staff, workers and players of Song Lam Nghe An Club, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, General Director of SLNA Football Joint Stock Company, affirmed that SLNA is currently proud to be the most unique club in Vietnam. Since its establishment, it has never been relegated and has stood at the pinnacle of national football glory many times. Currently, SLNA is the only club in the country that mainly uses players who have grown up from its own training ground. Almost all professional football clubs, first and second division in Vietnam today have players who have worn the SLNA shirt.
