Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committeealong with representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Department of Education and Training and a number of related departments and branches attended the opening ceremony with the school.

Thoroughly implementing the spirit of organizing a short and concise opening ceremony, the delegates, teachers and students of Nghe An Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2 sang the National Anthem; listened to the reading of the letter of General Secretary - President Nguyen Phu Trong and delivered a speech welcoming the new school year 2020 - 2021.

This new school year, the school has more than 500 students who are children of ethnic minorities. The past school year had many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the school was flexible in diversifying teaching methods, maintaining educational activities and completing them on schedule.

At the end of the school year, Nghe An Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2 was one of 21 schools in the province withhigh school graduation rate100% achieved; 98/148 students achieved 24 points or more in all exam blocks, of which 21 students achieved 27 points or more, 3 students achieved 28.5 points.

Entering the new school year, the school has identified the following basic tasks: Strengthening comprehensive education, focusing on discipline activities, social responsibility awareness; organizing well cultural, sports and physical education activities, ensuring school security and order, traffic safety education, preventing violence and social evils. On this occasion, the school also awarded teachers who trained students to achieve high scores in the 2020 high school graduation exam; students who achieved high scores in the high school graduation exam and poor students with special difficulties who overcame difficulties to achieve academic achievements.
