VFF President Le Hung Dung: Everything at VFF is fine
Although he is very busy with work and has some health problems, VFF President Le Hung Dung affirmed that work at VFF and the national teams is still going smoothly.
In a phone interview with reporters on August 19, Mr. Dung said that the financial situation of VFF is currently "basically guaranteed". "Currently, we are balancing our income and expenditure. Previously, the largest source of income for VFF was from V-League, but now it has been handed over to VPF, so we have to manage it ourselves.
Revenue and expenditure calculated through the remaining tournaments organized by VFF, some are even, some are profitable... VFF must use that source to invest in the national team, Olympic team, youth teams, and general activities... Expenses are getting bigger and bigger while expected revenue is limited.
The burden is very heavy but fortunately we have balanced it, in general still ensuring the basic activities of VFF. There are no large imbalances that are spent on total revenue. That is the most important thing. In general, there is not much surplus but it is basically guaranteed," Mr. Dung commented.
Another area that fans are very interested in is the "health" of the national team. The VFF President said: "Regarding coach Miura, we evaluate that he is doing very well, as shown by the progress of the players.
Winning or losing depends on many factors: do we have enough players, do the players have good form when entering the tournament, and even luck... If we keep changing coaches, it won't be good."
Recently, there has been information about the health of the VFF President. Mr. Dung did not deny it, but affirmed that with the current team, when the VFF apparatus decentralizes between management and operation, the work is still running well, although he also shared that "if we could do it 100% of the time, it would be better".

Once a strong supporter of Mr. Duc's approach and the young players of HAGL Academy, Mr. Dung said that the team's current difficulties are only "a failure in immediate performance, not a failure in playing style.
The HAGL academy training model is applied according to modern European standards. Can we find a better training model and method? The world is still doing it and we cannot say that they have failed."
